Large Scale Central

Hear ye, hear ye, hear ye

… be it proclaimed that HJ aka HWNFA (He Who Never Finishes Anything) has finished a complete, scratchbuilt structure in 1:22.5 scale. In the process he discovered a few nifty wrinkles which will come in mighty handy on future structures built of wood!   The last touch was the stones on the roof panels. When the “Föhn” (a hot southerly wind) blows down the valley those stones will keep things in place.

Peace!!

Nicely done HJ.

Now a short cryptic note for “Sparkeswood” if he can come out of hiding?

Do you care to reply to this thread?
Perhaps with an apology to HJ?

Very nice modelwork HJ , I like it , and I have just the place for it here , still ! That building would look great in this area with the church …

Dennis, Give it another week and I’ll have the drawing for it ready. Anyone can build one of those, if I could. What you need though is a cat that likes Special Kitty cat food, otherwise you need to resort to litho plates for the roof.  I looked at the tuna cans, but they have a golden sheen and that’s a bit rich for Graubünden proto; may work in Ohio, you never know!
