Heads Up, SEGRS cancelled until spring
No reason given, but 4 days prior to the event?

4 days before. I would bet that news is really going to torque off a lot of folks. If they do have a spring show, those folks may not come just out of spite.
I’m guessing vendor participation was insufficient.
No vendors, there’s no show.
I hate to see things didn’t work out.
You don’t book these halls on a handshake.

Obviously , there is no way that I could attend this show anyway , but I do sympathise with people who have been disappointed .
However , we must also think of the people who had the faith to organise it in the first place , presumably well in advance . They do these things with good intentions and are then let down by circumstances beyond their control .
I don’t think there are any winners in this situation , but there will be a lot of people disappointed , that’s for sure .
Keep the faith and hope it works next time .

as we prep for our foray into “trade shows” I can easily see why some vendors stay at home. The cost of Everything is tremendous and makes it hard to justify even attending.
This thing called the ‘net’ has really hurt the hobby trade show industry (and many others I’d imagine).
Booking a ‘booth space’ has crunched us, a small/new start-up…I can’t imagine trying to secure an entire Hall!
Well it was a multiple train show so not many G scale venders would have showed anyway and I sure had not planned to attend. No disappointment here. Later RJD
