It’s only for HLW products.

I saw this advertised in GR and plan on entering my own unique HLW product as soon as we get a sunny day for photos.

Nice photo competition there already.

So if that picture wins we split the Mack down the middle then?

Interesting and a cununrdrum at the same time…I have tons of HLW products, but most are now a mix of various other mfrs parts…and I don’t have a ‘garden’ RR but I do have the Pizza…and 6 megapixels? Really THAT large? no wonder its limited to 3 only photos.

Have to think about the odds vs the award…would they really give someone like me a free Mack knowing with what flagrant razorsaw abuse I might subject it to???

Vic go for it. When they saw what I did to the Big John, they loved it. If people see what can be done with an affordable train, it can still help Hartland. You have nothing to loose plus you get a make it take it kit just for entering.

“Entry Deadline: Friday May 3rd 2013” - maybe something can get finished by then - have several part-done projects, like the orange Sparky in the avatar. If all other projects are set aside to work on those, then maybe …

If you dont have an outdoor layout just grab some track put it outside, add some ballast and a few plants. No one will know the difference.

Vic,

It does say that all participants will get a free take & make kit…

I’m gonna enter ThommyMack from my March 2007 Bash.

Travis

The kits are Unassembled Mini-Cars from HLW. Found at the bottom of this page:

Thanks Cale…

submitted 3 photos…

Hey Cal hows the garden layout coming? No excuse you have lots of help.

its waiting for some drier weather! its happening this time!

received confirmation that HLW received photos

I really liked the “make and take” flatcar kit I received for entering the photo contest.

But I thought the flatcar looked lonely on the layout. So I purchased their tank car kit to go with the flat. Smart idea by Hartland to give a free kit just for entering the contest, as they got business from me.
