Would anyone have knowledge of who sells these cars. The ones that show up on Ebay are alittle pricey for the most part.

Wholsesale trains is usually the best place and the cheapest.

The guy selling HLW on ebay is a rip off.

If you enter the HLW photo contest they will send you the bag of arts that will allow you to build a few mini series stuff.

Thanks Shawn. I should have mentioned that I am presently involved in a minor issue with Wholesale Trains. Yes, they do have very good prices on the mini series. And i have purchased from them in the past without any problems what so ever. I am waiting for a reply from their owner before I purchase from them again.

I know Upland Trains has them and Gold Coast Station too. I would call Upland Trains first as they have the best prices.

I take it the mini series is the snap=together cars?

A number of years ago our ckub in Lancaster bought 100 of the tank cars at a great discount from HLW to use in a presentation to a city group. The kids really had a great time putting them together and taking them home.

It was also a great way to show off the portable layout.

Yes it is. Of all the things I have ordered over the years I never had an issue. I think they have some of the best prices, larger stock then most others and anytime I spoke with someone on the phone they were great. I guess everyone has had different experiences. Yet I have had problems with other dealers that everyone raves about (not going to say what ones)
