Hartland Interurbans new feature

The new CSS&SB Hartland Interurban I aquired today has a new feature from the previous electrics , it has working red lights displayed to the rear of direction of travel . they may be LEDS , they can be seen in daylight , a nice addition to operation . They run smooth of course , they are Hartlands . The paint is a nice finish , well done . Ric G may be in trouble if they do these in IT …

That is nice. I like it a lot better with the pantographs rather than the trolley pole as I’ve seen others done.

I’m already in trouble, because of a book our friends from Canada brought with them. Its called “Self-Propelled Cars of the CNR” by Anthony Clegg. That and Dennis’s pictures and success has the got the grey matter heating up. There is real thought going on up there and its going to cost me money. From what I’ve seen - retirement is way over rated, So if I work just another 50 years I can have all these toys I must have to support my habit. Thank God, I work because it keeps me occupied from really devoting time to explore all the possibilities with catenary and track. HLW makes great stuff. Glad to see they are continuing to improve and modify.

Ric, don’t believe that lie… Retirement is everything you are working for. Think TRAINS…MORE TRAINS… I can’t afford to travel a lot in my retirement so I just stay home and play with my trains. Some people think I’m crazy…and everyone else knows the truth…

You are so right Warren , I stay home and train and train , its GREAT ! For all the money that I have saved from what I used to burn in gas going back and forth to work …I used it yesterday …

Dennis,

That last one is a very cool picture.
