In this comming new year may God grant to all of us good health for our family and friends, thanks for our free country and those who died to make it so. May he grant us time to enjoy our trains and share our knowledge with others. Happy New Year to all Russ
Back at you, Russ. And HAPPY NEW YEAR to all our Friends on the net.
Friendly reminder; Stay off the roads, it’s “Amateur Night”! … lots of folks who “don’t know how to drink” will get plastered and think they can still drive home…
If your friends are one of those, take their keys. If you are, sleep it off where you are… or call a cab.

Thank you Russell for the nice thoughts. And Happy New Year to all my very good internet friends.
Happy New Year everyone and run trains! We’re staying home and leaving the roads to…
Happy New Year, to one and all…
Doug Arnold said:Drove back from Toronto this afternoon after a five-day visit there with four grandchildren in tow :o They had a good time, generally. No. 1 grandson got to visit the Hockey Hall of Fame with his uncles -- Nirvana! Thought we might have a spot of bother on the road home today with a freezing rain warning in effect, but fortune favoured us ... and tonight we're definitely NOT venturing out -- and may not even stay awake to see 2012 in.

Anyway, Happy New Year to all
Happy New Year, everyone!
May the best of 2011 turn out to be the worst of 2012!
Oh BTW, we are going downtown for a party at the jazz club, should be fun! I’m sure the cops will be out in force and since we have some “very interesting” regulations concerning the limit … maybe, just maybe even the biggest bone heads will either walk or take a taxi.
I never imagined that I would be able to lay in a new switch in the small Lassen freight yard today! It was a nice 62 or so degrees and 95% of the snow is gone.
Lets all hope for a safe holiday, Doug I am with you, I am staying off the roads and going to run a few trains.
John
Yes a Happy New Year to all my LSC friends. Bob promotes this as a free site, and it is entirely. We all get 5 megs of storage in our freight shed but why not step it up to 125 megs for a mere 20 bucks. It is a way more easier to store your pics here (for downloading into the forums or chat). Even I can figure it out. Just a challenge to some of us here that may use other means of storing our pics on other sites such as Photo Bucket or whatever. Bob spends alot of time improving the site and fixing bugs AND putting up with us. Let’s say thankyou by ‘up-grading’.
PS. Hope I did not ‘step on your toes’ Bob.
Thanks Randy
Happy New Year all…just think you made it another year with Rooster!
Okay here is the test run of the Christmas present
Randy McDonald said:That's just what I'm goin' to do. AND you do this by upgrading at the Freight Sheds? Correct?

What I did last year was simply sending Bob $20 by paypal and he did the rest. I now have a ton of storage here.
Gee, that is what it sounds like when I am waiting to get on the ferry to cross the Puget Sound and except for the power car that is right behinf the engine it even looks the same!
