Thanks Ralph - My kids are both on the other side of the country so unfortunately we won’t be spending any time together this weekend.
Funny thing though; yesterday I was emptying a file cabinet to take a bunch of papers to a community Shred It event. In the cabinet was a Father’s Day card my son Matthew made when he was about 7. Made me smile!
My kids live far away. I ran my Accucraft LS Mogul, nice cool morning, good plumes!
I too, have children “far off”.
The children close, are working. As is my wife.
I’m building one of my daughters a computer today.
When it cools off, I’ll be mowing grass
I was hoping for better for you guys
Ralph
My nearest child is 200 miles away. We spend an hour on the phone this morning, catching up.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads here!
I have some close and some distant. The close ones have families of their own and mostly celebrate with their family. And that is OK with me, they are getting the recognition they gave me, and it is their time. Spending a quiet day with the significant other of 41 years. Sometimes just a quiet day together is the best.

Happy Fathers Day to everyone.
Most of my kids and all of my grandkids live in town. One is out camping this weekend with his family. We are going to watch the youngest son (25) play soccer this afternoon. We might see our one daughter and kids later after her husband returns from his run at work (BNSF Engineer). Our last daughter lives out of state and I haven’t heard from her.
So after the soccer game we’ll see what happens, too cold and rainy outside to run trains.

Wife took me out for breakfast, came home cooked some ribs on the grill, cut the grass, now watching collage world series. Don’t hear from the oldest boy unless he needs something!
Will go and visit Craig the youngest son at the cemetery tonight.

Dad (94) and my Aunt came over. One daughter in Boise, one in Atlanta. Son came over with his Mother-in-law, and his 2 kids. Everyone is gone, wife cleaned up for me. It’s beautiful in New Jersey. I should have a nice 15 minutes with my trains.
Happy Father’s Day guys. Glad I’m still here to enjoy it!
Pretty cool for me. My dad (88) came over. Had my sister and her husband and kids, my son in law’s father, and his sister and husband and two kids. The railroad may recover from the 3 year old; I’ll have to wait and see how much glue is necessary.
What a day!
Welp the SRVP hit a skunk last night…so after dinner at Mom and Dads…we hosed her car down good with mader juice…
After church, I went out to dinner, then spent a quiet day at home. Caleb texted me. Planted some flowers.
I hope all of Yous dads had a good day. I am not a dad, but my day was nice, and quiet.
Happy Father’s Day to all the Father’s…
I ran this train today in honor of Ray Shoup who sold it to me right before he passed away.

Its the day after, and like Steve F Mine are on the east coast, Los Angeles, and right here but I get a phone call from two but not the third one seems to have lost my phone number. Other wise it was a nice quiet day. Put decals on my Phil’s Narrow Guage Flat Car.

My Great-Grandson (4yrs) spent the afternoon and night here. We ran trains, and he ran the throttle.
