As people are preparing to get on the road, stay home or be amongst friends, we just wanted to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July. Be safe, if you wish, and celebrate our freedom.
Hurrah Ric! And same to you & yours…!

Recycled from 2007, but always a good time celebrating the birthday of the USA

I usually do and for my error I apologize. Please hoist one (or more) for All Canada Day. Since we have been celebrating since last Saturday night, it has kind of all run together.Mark Dash said:Welllllll , we celebrated on Tuesday, July 1 :)

We celebrated Canada Day here in yUK by the hauling of a HUGE flag on our range in place of the range safety flag. I sent a movie of it to Fr Fred to cheer him up, as if he ever needed THAT doing.
And yes, HUGE is the word, folks - it measures a handy twelve by eight feet and looks great hanging outside our house opposite our nearest US family opposite…
Please hoist a beverage of your choice on our behalf, and have a GREAT DAY!!!

Same to you and yours Ric.
Spent the Fourth driving home from FL Thought I’d run into a lot of traffic but evidently everyone got to where they were going the day before. At home it seems most of the 4th picnics and fireworks displays got rained out. Au well, we could use the rain…
Spent yesterday at the Botanic running my Mallet and talking to people. Was a beautiful day.
