Happy 2015 from the Management

Howdy folks

I just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year, and thank everyone for their support over the years. Hard to believe that 2015 will be the 15th year of LSC. Ive met some incredibly talented people, and made some great friends over the years.

On the website front, sometime in the next couple of months, I will be updating the software on the site. There will be no major changes, but we’re almost 3 years behind in bug fixes, security patches, speed improvements, and the like, and I want to get up to date. I suspect there will be some oddities here and there, but I don’t think anything majorly glaring. I have a test version running on machine here at home, so Ill be evaluating it for a while before pulling the trigger. The forum module has a bunch of additional features that I’m excited about getting in place.

Anyway, thank you again for all your support.

I must admit that any time I see Happy anything “from the Management”, I tend to look behind me to see if the axe is descending.

Chris, me too. I also cringe and hold my breath when “updates” are mentioned. Seldom have I seen a program updated, that didn’t cause problems and many unforeseen “events”.

You must not have been here for the upgrade to the present format. At least if memory serves me well.
