I’ve been thinking about doing a Halloween train. I have a Halloween party every year. I thought it might be cool to run a Halloween Train. It is a little late to be thinking about it for this year. But not too early to start for next year. Does anybody do a Halloween Train? If so, some pictures would be cool.

Not technically a Halloween train but the candy corn was popular -

Sorry no pictures, just an idea.
Assemble a train of all the most disparate cars and have it pulled by Thomas. That I would call a truly scary train! Perfect for Halloween!
HLW produces “theme” cars for each Season/Holiday although I can’t find them online right now…check your latest GR Mag…usually a gon decorated in seasons color!

I started one but quickly got flummuxed by the extra costs, I was going to do a “Dia de los Muertos” train using the Calatrava figurines used in those little Mexican diorama boxs used if you’re familiar with the holiday. I only got as far as adding one figurine to an engine, got several others but I always get sidetracked and still dont really have any way to show it off so I dropped it.

Cool idea Vic.
Where can I get figures like those you pictured?

The absolute top halloween train has to belong to Larry and Evelyn Tennyson.
I bought mine at local shops on Olvera Street here in downtown, best bet is on-line shops, just search for
Day of the Dead figurines
Dia de los Muertos figurines
Calaveras
You should get some hits.
