Purty clever!..(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
Here’s Jerry’s video. Neat trick to keep the kids socially-distant!
I ended up doing 22 back and forth deliveries, total of 40 kids. A fun night.

I bet it was fun for the kids as well - great idea!

What was the source of the spooky sound effect? Or did you add that to the video afterwards?
Oh no, Pete, worse then that, notice the large black fuzzy spider? Found it on the web. ( get it? the web…)
I makes the spooky sound, eyes light up and it vibrates. Triggered by either sounds or touching it.
So I tied a piece of monofilament fishing line to a leg and ran it up to the porch where I sat with the RC control for the train.
The kids waited for the train with the goodies and as they reached for the bags of candy I pulled the fishing line…
Yes I am well known in the neighborhood, thank you.

Oh Jerry;
That is funny! One year I tried running my LGB Stainz through the porch side of our bay window. It shoved a pair of dump cars to hold the candy loads. End of the line was my B&D portable work bench with a cardboard chute taped to it. I would have the child put their “goody bag” under the chute, then shove up a dump car and plop the candy load into the chute. It was fun for me and the kids, but a real bear to set up. I like your flat on the sidewalk arrangement much better.
Best Wishes, David Meashey

Now you explained, I can see the spider start to move as the sound starts!
