Halloween 2014

Spooky greetings all!

I love Halloween and have since I was a kid, which is going back a long, long, way.

In keeping with the holiday I and one of my daughters have been decorating the front yard in typical All Hallow’s Eve regalia.

Which brings me to the wreck of the Soggy Bottom Express. As if crashing through the end of track barrier over a canyon weren’t bad enough, it turns out the canyon is home to mutant spiders!

Big spiders, little spiders, just grabbed a few left over prop pieces from the Halloween box and instant Arach Attack!

Wish I was a bit more adept at picture taking. Been fooling around with picture in picture callouts but since Paint is feature limited the results so far are pretty rough…

Will put up some pics of the finished yard next week.

Best,

TJ

Cool

Ray,

Thanks for the encouragement!

That’s cool, Tim. Do you decorate the train for each holiday season?

-Kevin.

DD,

I am thinking I will jazz up the Soggy Bottom Express for each holiday. Need to get a bunch of turkeys next!

TJ

I shot a few new photos of my annual “Patio of Terror”. No trains involved but still fun. I added several new jack o’lanterns this year. I use artificial pumpkins so I can reuse them every year, also saves on having to carve a bunch at the last minute. A sample photo is attached. You can see the rest here:

And here’s one of the ghosts I made:

Enjoy!

You got me shakin’ in my boots!

Since I’ll be running trains on the club layout at the nursery this month I’ll have a homemade holiday train with music.

I sue like the halloween work.

You are having too much fun with that setup Tim. I like it. Come Thanksgiving will it be attack of the giant turkeys or will you add a cooked one being delivered by train?

Scary stuff Ray. Well done. Your talents go beyond the trains.

A really good time was had by all (especially me!)… I was made up as Zackerley for anyone old enough to remember who that is.

Happy Halloween, whatever you are!

Best,

TJ

Great looking house.

Thanks Ron!
