Large Scale Central

Had a train dream last night

Had a fun train dream last night. It was Christmas time and I was in a big hobby shop that had a large scale layout that encircled their entire store. I don’t know why but I had brought a small speeder and 3 small cars to tow behind it. I put the train on the track and off it went and quickly derailed on a string of garland that they had put on the track. I set it back on and the train continued on to spiral up a mountain but it hit something else and derailed. I had to use a dowel to rerail it since I couldn’t reach it. I said to the kid working there this “engine is too light let me get a heavy one like my Heisler” so I went back to the giant bag I had brought and it was empty. I remember thinking “that was stupid to bring only this little speeder and not a real engine to highlight these big trains at the hobby shop”. So I went back to trying to coax the speeder around their layout.

What a weird dream and what does it mean??

Speedster insecurity, following along the lines of “it not big enough to get the job done”

It means lay off the chili fries before bedtime

Not running any trains before bed time and didn’'t get your fix for the day? (http://freightsheds.largescalecentral.com/users/noelw/smilies/36_1_38.gif)

Todd you need therapy and lots of it, you have “Small” complex.

Funny guys. Trouble was I think I did get my “fix” on smoke fluid and I got drain bamage.

Just kidding. but it was a fun dream.

I did learn a lesson though Don’t bring a Speeder to a GP38 job.

Ah, Grasshopper, you are learning a valuable lesson in this life.

This is a metaphor of your life journey. You are struggling with an uphill journey, and your goals are frequently derailed. You are persistent in your goals, but feel you must have more power. When you look for help, you find your bag empty, so you keep chugging along.

You need not read your horriblescope for today.

Now Grasshopper, try to snatch this pebble from my hand.

I had a weird dream, too. I dreamt that I ate a giant marshmallow. When I woke up, my pillow was gone. What does it mean?

That’s a relief.

Sounds like you all have been hitting the sauce. Later RJD

Fourth of July it will be a year since I’ve tasted anything more alcoholic than Listerene…What??? …seriously…I’m not kidding…

Good for you, Bart. Congratulations.

‘Nuther tee-totaller here, sorta’. Exceptions are a single glass of wine at Christmas, a single beer with a buddy once or twice a year.

I work with my brain, what little I have of one. I find I concentrate a lot better without alcohol of any kind.

Todd,

Back when I was working for other people, I had a rule: As soon as I started to dream about my job too often it was time to look for another job.

Perhaps you need an additional hobby. (hehehe)
