I found this nice video of Climax #3 on the Greenbrier and Durbin to be pleasing to the eye. It is shot in the fall and the steam plumes are very nice. The video appears to be professionally done and I particularly like the on-board shots of the gearing and shafts in action.
I had a model of this lokie when I was in HO and it is good to see the real thing. Hope y’all like it.

Tom, a few years back we rode behind her. Being as it was the last run of the day, I got to stand there and watch as they put her in the shed for the night. I am just fascinated with Climaxes, all that motion of the jack-shaft and pistons to go at a blazing…to go along at a walking pace. Its a very cool machine.
I just rode it on Sunday. Part of the 2015 Cass Railfest weekend.
It was the triple treat having Shays (4), Heisler (1) and Climax (1).
