Thanks Rooster! I drew up and cut the correct roof from 3/8" PVC trim board.

Here is a pic of my test sample and the board. The woodgrain is .6mm deep so I just cut that much deeper.

Your CNC machine has been a great investment for you Dan. Is the wood grain plastic sheet CNC or stock styrene?

Bill,
It’s probably standard sheet they call it reversible. One side is smooth and the other has wood grain.
I doubt it was 3/4 stock and only showing this as an example.

the link tells me: "You don’t have permission to access “http://www.homedepot.com/p/Veranda-3-4-i…”

And I get “The product you are trying to view is not currently available.”

Yes it has!
The wood grain board is PVC trim board bought at a discount from Lowes. I don’t want the wood grain so I cut the roof pattern an extra .6mm deep to ensure the wood grain would not be visible.

Dan, what sort of CNC do you have? Just curious.

It’s a 3-Axis CNC Router

Nice, thanks. Good cutting area, and looks like high quality. What do you do for debris containment?

I wonder what Ro will selling them for at the show

I figured 3 feet was enough to do pretty much anything I need. (Longest car side or building).

I use a shop vac with this thing.

Don’t you just hate it when your neighbour puts in a bigger train set with more realistic sound!?

nice moving background.

but most noticable to me was, that Rooster’s pristine lawn looked more like a pre-columbian prairie…

What tickled me was that I didn’t realize a dog was watching the switching move until said dog moved. The dog remained so still that I first thought it was a yard ornament of some kind.
