Large Scale Central

Greenberg Train Show in Danbury, CT 11/16-17

Unlikely there will be any Large Scale, but if you need a train fix and are in the area there will be a Greenberg’s Toy & Train Show at the O’Neill Center on the West Side Campus of Western Connecticut State University. Take I-84 Exit 4 to US Route 6 / 202 West to University Blvd.

Open 10AM to 4PM. Admission is $8 and is good for both days.

Ill have to remember that. Im going to the Allentown PA show this Saturday hoping to find some clockwork stuff.

If you decide to go let me know and I’ll meet you there. If there is a choice of weather days I’'d vote for rain/snow rather than cloudy or sunny as the day to go. Still have lots of outdoor chores to finish before we get snowed in.

I just found out we have out club meet that day at Mt Pocono. If the weather is looking like rain/snow then I might go the show. Then yet I could take a sick day that Sunday cough cough…

I’m hitting the Allentown show this Saturday. Hoping to get some tin plate stuff.

Shawn,
I will see you there, I am going in the early AM.

Heard the show tanked badly “poor attendance wise” may not be back next year. But a few friends

went and got some good buys on LGB and USA Trains of course. Heard there were some really nice

displays but none large scale.

Nick the Allentown show is big. It was packed from the time they opened till I left. Not much G scale but lots of O gauge, Lionel etc… Got some great deals on clockwork stuff.

Shawn,

I was talking about the Greenbergs show in CT.

I know, Just saying  The Allentown show was the same weekend. Its bigger then the Greenburg and attendance was good. Could have taken away from the Greenburg some.
