Once in a while one runs into a vendor that really goes the extra mile. I had one of those experiences an hour ago, and wanted to give them credit.
This afternoon I saw that I had messed up my NCE Procab wireless throttle… left it in a place where water got into the cabinet I left it in, but I should have properly stored it. So it has sat in a damp spot for quite a while.
As a result, the little conductor clip at the top of the battery compartment rusted out. All else seemed fine; it powered up when plugged in, and was dry inside.
I explained all this to NCE support an hour ago, and they emailed be that they’d send the clip. Minutes later, I was notified that it had shipped. No wait, no charge.
That’s pretty stellar support!
