Boy??? Have you sent me any of your decals???

Careful what you wish for !!!

T’was a great show. On Saturday afternoon the grandson, Luke, was with me and had a ball running trains. Did great for a 6 year old. Lots of fun to get out of the heat, of course the A/C quit Sunday am and made the place like a tropical rain forest before I got there. So I was told. It was still a little warm, but improved as the day progressed.

Andy’s train looked and ran great!

Glad to see you out and running, Andy. Train looks great.

“Where the hell is my car!”

It must of got derailed and damaged somewhere on its route to Southern Illinois. If it was here, it would have run.

Ralph… That is a great caboose…

Nice looking grain train Andy. How many cars do you have now? I’ve heard that you have cornered the market on grain cars.

Henson

Henson,

The LGB cars that I have are the 9 I ran this past weekend… 4 LGB Original paint schemes & 5 painted & decaled… Of the 5, 1 is Bluestone Southern, 1 is North Table Creek, and 3 are Consolidated Grain & Barge… I have 1 just waiting on decals, and 4 more, ready to be washed, painted & decaled… and 4 more, sitting in theirs boxes, to be painted & decaled… I actually have 6 more downstairs, but I am turning those into ““Airslide”” hoppers… I also have a few USA covered hoppers, along with a bunch of Aristo’s 2 bay covered hoppers…

Yes, I did buy 14 of the LGB hoppers @ York last March… But, hey, at 40 bucks a car, I couldn’t pass them up…

My railroad will be serving at least 4 Elevators, so I need hoppers for operations…

Quite an impressive fleet Andy. I am reminded of the long hopper trains (all types) that pass through Roanoke VA.

Thanks Alan… I am truely working on getting a fleet…
