OK, a book report: Title End of Tack the life of one James Kyner. He was wounded at the Shiloh Battlefield. He became a Railroad grading contractor and lost it all in 1893 and came back thru perseverance and hard work recovered. It is a most interesting read but I don’t think you’ll find it in your local Library. It was published in in 1937 by the Caxton Printer Ltd. in Caldwell, Idaho. It is one of my fathers books which I now have, A quote from Mr. Kyner at the end of his book; “Pampered people cannot possibly be strong.” and " This growing complexity of everything does not improve us. I wish for simpler things, myself-simpler things in government, in business, in society, in life."
If you can find a copy, you will enjoy it!
