Just saw this listing today:

If you thought these were all gone here is one still in the original packaging, and provided you have no competition buy the auction’s end it would be a fantastic deal.

PS:I have no affiliation with the seller. Just wanted to pass on a great opportunity to my LSC friends. If this posting violates any site rules, please delete it and accept my sincere apology.

That may be a great deal, but its still out of my price range.

Headed out for lottery tickets. That’s the only way I could buy it, but it’s fun to dream!

Hey David, The ironic thing is I managed to shoe horn one of these in to my budget this past fall but now I won’t have anything to run it on for at least a year or so. It sure does look nice on my shelf though.

Good luck with the lottery John!

Well, I can afford the loco, but the shipping, insurance and taxes would easily add another thousand or more to it…never seen one here in UK, either.

@Randy - get yourself some rollers and just run the darn thing, fer gosh sakes.

Well it’s gone. Good buy to bad I already have one. Later RJD

Yeah, I’m sure someone will have a big smile on their face in a few days.

Tac, That thought has crossed my mind, but to me, it seems disrespectful to this masterpiece not to let it stretch it’s legs on it’s first run. This will give me time to install the R/C and perhaps in the spring I can convince one of my local peers to let me try it out on their layout. I’m a slow deliberate person and used to waiting a bit to make a good thing happen “correctly”.

@Randy - mrs tac INSISTS that I run ALL my trains, whatever the weather, and whenever the opportunity arises. Hence my ttwo parallel track ‘layout’ - if you can call it that’ - steam on one track and sparkie on the other. I tell ya, with only 150’ of track and thirty-something locos in six different scales it can get really busy out there some days…

Uh oh, she has just seen me writing this post…“Yes, dear, I’m going now as soon as the squall passes over…”

Gee tac, that’s both good and bad. I run what I want when I want to run it, and my mom enjoys them when she is home. And I know the situation of 30+ locomotives and 150 feet of track.
