Watch it, Fred. The game wardens may have some questions about your poaching activities, with or without battery. Though I do hear that "finding" game is an ancient and honourable railway tradition.

That any better T? Third time lucky, old floon.

Terry; Get that blasted "Double Ended Monstrosity" radio controled and bring it with you to Ottawa. We have the track for it to "Perform" on......I gather it is a live steamer. Add Kadee couplers........both ends. If it is a track powered toy loco, then get Dave Goodson to convert it to Battery and Radio Control and get to play trains with us grown ups.......!!!! Join the Battery/Radio Control Maffia......"We are appoachable with out a block system".
Yo Fred - it is STEAM-powered!!! Knowing me as you do, do you honestly believe that I would pay the price of a small residence on the County for a sparkie? Come, come, Sir, you do me a great disservice!!

As for couplings, the real thing used the ‘real thing’ couplings, in this case, the ubiquitous chopper lump type, but I may well change out at least one end to Kadees.

Anyhowway, if you log on the YouTube and check offerings by steamdraincock - three at the last count - you will see his black version chuffing away quite merrily in the gloom and damp of a typical British day out.

Mine has to await collection on thursday - December 28

All the very best for the upcoming NEW YEAR!!!

tac, mrs tac, and the family ig

PS - I have put my name down for the Accucraft ‘Royal Hudson’ in grey and maroon. should be here by the time I have earned enough to pay for it…

Terry…

Change your calendar, and join in with the American Invasion in July (19th through 22nd)…bring the steam kettle with you.

If you want it included in the operation you need both ends with Kadees.

But…if you just want to “Show off”, you can just run the durn thing in circles…!!!
