Goodson washer kit for early B'mann Shay: instructions?

I purchased a Shay truck washer repair kit from NWRCS/Dave Goodson in 1999. Just dug it out and looked it over in case I will soon need it for my 1998 purchase of a first run Shay. The thermal paper Dave used for instructions has gone blank…instructions faded completely out.

I do not see him reflected on, “search,” functions here, nor do I see a contact number for him. Does anyone have a copy of those instructions or a contact point for Dave. I’m sure he could email a copy of the information.

This original version of the Shay still runs very well, but has very few hours on it.

I emailed Dave Goodson and got an almost immediate reply. He described what I needed to know and followed up with drawing of the kit instructions. Good service! Thanks, Everyone. Merry Christmas, Dennis

Sean: Pics might be some time coming. When I brought out this Shay from being on the shelf so long, I discovered my Goodson instructions had faded out. I don’t need the washer kit until my Shay develops trouble, but I figured it would be wise to have readable instructions/tips ready. Years ago, I got them as a precaution, to be used when needed, … later. “Later,” has yet to arrive. This locomotive might just run fine for several months and if so, the kit will wait. I appreciate your interest though, and will post anew later.
