Good and bad

Oh yes very train related. I see more train stuff listed on Craig’s List all the time. Of course with unemployment over 14% here in Lost Wages, this is the sign of the times. I have picked up a few things that were interesting but I really do not need any more except track as one can’t seem to have enough.

Spend it if you got it.

Yep, on the Craig’s list, no fees no muss no fuss just trust in two party’s to do the right thing??? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe “yes”? maybe “no” buyer beware there certainly. I have purchased one item from Craig’s list, and ended up with a dispute with the seller over shipping!! He told me what he wanted to ship, and then found out later it was $20 more, after we had made the deal, and I had sent him his money, and he had shipped!! He then tried to get more money on the deal!! I promptly explained the facts of life to him and what a contract was either verbal and or written which we had both, and with a little of ignoring his threats, and vile emails, he had already shipped the item when he said he needed MORE money! So several errors on HIS part!! When I received the item, he said it cost him more for shipping and packing materials, the UPS driver told me that he was lucky he got it shipped at all through UPS as to the inferior way in which it was packed. Not a train item, but large, and it was all but torn up in several places on how he had packed it, and definitely not worthy of more fees!! As all the judge shows I watch on tv and having been in court many times, and only losing one case since 1982, what dey said “Make sure you get everything in writing, either have a verbal or written contract written is best, and a meeting of the minds before you ship, and or end the deal with the acceptance of the monies”!! Regal p.s. it’s a crapshoot anymore nowadays, to trust anybody, and or anything in life anymore. It’s not personal its just good business, to get everything in writing"!!! Hah LOL Regal

New selling format honestly. All the S/H train dealers I have dealt with in the past have little to no stock, so I factor this also? Why!

Why put it on thier shelf and pay them 20+% when you can list it on Craigslist and someone in Ohio can find your item in Florida and make a deal without a cut to them (or the 10-20% that eBay wants now).

So it goes?

The only problem with some train stuff on Craigslist is they think Tyco junk is worth mint Std Gauge Ives prices!
