Large Scale Central

Gone for a bit

Thursday morning I’m heading out on my annual Nevada/Mojave camping trip, exploring old mines and ghost towns. So I’ll be offline for a few days.

Maybe the bridge on I10 will be restored in time.

Have fun!

Greg

Be safe. Mine exploration always scares me when I don’t know if people know the dangers. Between timber gas and shafts that drop into the abyss or ones that are full of water when you drop there are so many dangers. I get the idea your not a stranger to it nor reckless but be safe my friend.

I10 bridge scheduled to reopen on Friday.

I wish I was going with you. I look forward to the pics on your website.

Watch out for snakes, hopefully that last big-ass rainstorm last weekend didnt wash out any roads up there

Well Victor, it took out a bridge on a freeway, you can be SURE the roads got it worse.

Greg

I’m back! Had a great time despite a few car-related issues. No significant problems with washed out roads. Saw lots of great stuff and had a few interesting critter encounters. It’ll take me a while to sort through the 2000+ photos, organize and post them to my website, and write up a trip report.

Glad you are back safe, and I know I speak for the community that we are looking forwards to your photos.

Any of them have the potential to lead to critter figure making articles?

Depends on the “Critter”
