Available from Pola in white and brown. They needed a bit of paint to look like the breeds in the Grisons. Before
After Next will be a goatherd - like Peter from the Heidi story.

Welcome to the Great Northern Historical Society 2010 Convention ! Special guest: The GN Mascot. âButt heads with Rocky !â
Thatâs why I repainted them A Rocky Mountain goat
(http://www.gngoat.org/glacier_goat.jpg)
has not much in common with the Grisons Strahlenziegen and Gemsziegen. Believe it or not I printed out a few of the pictures on the respective breeds. As it says in my sign off âAttention to detailsâ
Excellent paint job on those goats, HJ! They look great.
Saanens, Toggenburgs and Alpines, I knows my goats!

Yes Brian, but theyâre not among âmy herdâ from the Grisons. The brown ones I repainted as Chamois goats and the white ones turned into âStrahlenâ and âPfauenâ goats.
Hans-Joerg Mueller said:Alright now. Best I could figure out Chamois goats are known as Alpines on this side of the pond. I have no idea what "Strahlen" and "Pfauen" goats are except they may be some kind of dwarf goat. I spent 6 years of my youth raising, breeding and milking dairy goats (including 4H) but we didn't have any fancy swiss mountain goats.
