That’s why I repainted them A Rocky Mountain goat

has not much in common with the Grisons Strahlenziegen and Gemsziegen. Believe it or not I printed out a few of the pictures on the respective breeds. As it says in my sign off “Attention to details” :stuck_out_tongue:

Excellent paint job on those goats, HJ! They look great.

Saanens, Toggenburgs and Alpines, I knows my goats!

-Brian

Yes Brian, but they’re not among “my herd” from the Grisons. The brown ones I repainted as Chamois goats and the white ones turned into “Strahlen” and “Pfauen” goats.

Alright now. Best I could figure out Chamois goats are known as Alpines on this side of the pond. I have no idea what "Strahlen" and "Pfauen" goats are except they may be some kind of dwarf goat. I spent 6 years of my youth raising, breeding and milking dairy goats (including 4H) but we didn't have any fancy swiss mountain goats.
