Bill,
much like the people who live on the San Andreas faultline, one day you will have an ocean frontage with water lapping your doorstep.

I have been wondering about putting newly painted cars outside to naturally weather them a bit. Our snow is gone, (because the angle of the Sun is higher, not because of my flatulence) and the UV and rain may dull the shiny fresh painted look.

Ric how is the weather for you?
Kind of nice here.
Now for the rest of you I take ful blame for Global warming. My Christmas light display did it.
Geoff,
Our weather is good. Typical March, a couple of nice days and then some cooler days to slow people down. A couple of nice days and then cool again. Tis the cycle we live in and operate on. Enough nice days to get people thinking about their boat and bring in some work orders, then some cool days that allows us to catch up.
I knew “Global Warming” has always been your fault, but I wouldn’t have told the rest of the World. I’m glad you’ve confessed.
Not enough nice days around Detroit, wind chill was 11 this morning projected high temp for day around 30 with gusty winds!

OH NO AN ICE AGE COMING IN A FEW THOUSAND YEARS! I BETTER START EVOLVING John, you leave your cars outside?
This is what we had in the Peoples Republic of Western Washington this AM, it is now 2 PM!

So much for the plan to work on the RR this day, it would be nice to get ready for Spring - or is that coming this year?
The snow is gone off the rr today, but the wind is blowing sixty miles an hour.
You can’t win!
John , what sort of camera have you got that works in that temperature ?
What sort of feet ya got that walks in the stuff ? 'cause I bet ya didn’t take time to put footwear on ,
being so excited and all .
We would have major casualties here in UK (to the right of the USA in a good atlas) if such weather
were to befall us . We had 4 inches of snow the other day and London stopped . I stayed in bed .

What happened to the London that got many feet of snow, and the Thames froze over to the point where they held festivals on the ice each year?
Oh, yeah, the world was cooler, back then.
Global Temperature is like a yo-yo. Up and down, up and down, up and…
Careful Steve.
Steve ,
They had no model railways to worry about , only model boats .
John’s photos do make it look pretty , though .
No chance to get the snow plough out then , John ?
Mike M
Naw,
The forecast called for above freezing that day, and mother nature took care of it.
But then the wind howled and the chill factor for running trains made it impossible, unless you are an Eskimo.
Mike,
This was when it was phun!
