Hi Bob -
The updates to the New Posts / Mark as Read is for the most part working great, but I think there may be a bug on the Main Forum index page. Several times I have notice new posts in Track and Trestles on the preview pane, but that forum does not have the New Post indicator. If I go there, the individual threads with new posts are correctly indicated, so its just an index page thing.

Bob… Mine has been doing the same thing for a few days… I just tried hitting refresh on the main forums page, and it shows no new posts… When I open ““Tracks & Trestles””, there are two new posts… It’s not just Jon…
Yes, the main forum index page. And like Andy said, Refresh doesn’t do it.

Inside the forum, new posts are properly marked.
And here’s one I can repeat.
I went back to look at Ric’s new travel trailer…under Other Hobbies. I clicked on page 3. When I refreshed the forum, it now shows there are new posts!

Yup. I try to find the repeatable ones.

Bob, Not sure if you’ve had a chance to look at the ““New Posts”” stuff on Tracks & Trestles, but as of this morning, it’s still not showing new posts on the forums page, but does in it’s forum list…
I think this is a conspiracy between Bob and Bruce to keep my Deep Cut thread from getting any longer

I’m seeing 2 new posts in there, so the flagging on my end seems to be correct… Still working on the one Bruce found. wacky
OK, made some tweaks and I fixed the problem Bruce reported. Let me know if you’re getting any other ghost ‘new message’ indications.
