Sean is correct! I have read somewhere (probably online) that there is a company working on a 3D printer that will build houses. It will really take up some space!

So much potential for this technology in large scale. While my efforts in large scale are mainly directed toward narrow gauge modeling, the idea of being able to print shells, fuel tanks and truck sideframes for my favorite diesels in 1/29 scale is tantalizing. An Alco DL-109 or a C-415, or a nice EMD FL9 … yikes!

There was a fellow doing shells in 1/29 (Jonathan Huse), but he doesn’t seem to be active at the present time…
