Around here it’s bread, milk, AND toilet paper. (Of course that TP thing could be because we’re so close to Washington, DC.)

I am a complete interent dummy. I apolgize. I know it can be found by google searching: youtube tug hill plowing

Driveway and walks cleared. Im calling it 30 inches here. Removed about 12" off the driveway last night before we went to bed, and 15" again this morning, and another 2 or 3" just now. Sun just came out. We have some drifts against the house maybe 5 feet, including the laundry room door.

The big trestle on the rr is almost buried, its 2 feet tall, and on top of a 2 foot wall. The side yard has drifts up to my armpits by the wall stairs.

Whee!

Probably a foot here with some drifts over two. There will be no railroad operations for the foreseeable future except possibly clearing off West Es-Cap-E bridge and the trestle to allow equipment moves on the inside yard. My indoor yard throat is only 3 cars long.

We dug the cars out. Snowbank at the end of the driveway was not fun. 4 feet high and 4 feet thick of heavy packed snow. Still windy as the dickens. Time to make French Toast for brunch.

As far as Connecticut goes, we got off easy.

I can’t even see the tunnel the rotary is in!

No time to get to it today, Spring is around the corner!

Rumor has it that there is a railroad out there.

We got lucky over here. We ended up in a dry slot that really brought totals down, Only 9 inches with 2 ft drifts. At least the feb sun starts to get strong and will melt snow even with temps in the 20’s.

0" here it all blew east thankfully

West Es-Cap-E Bridge this afternoon…

Talked with my Mom, in Peabody, MA around 6 pm her time, she said that they were saying Peabody, MA got anout 26 inches of snow…

Jon,

That is a great video.

We ended up with 13 inch’s and a big sheet of ice today, what a mess.

Nick

Here’s some mountain snow:

We usually get so much that I can’t leave anything but the track outside during the winter. Otherwise everything would be crushed.

Matt, nice place, need a neighbor ? The wife would love it

Thanks Gerry.

But I think you’re a little late as we already have a neighbor

Really nice older couple. And he’s into trains. They live there year round. I can’t as I work most of the year in California. But it’s nice that they keep an eye on things. But other then them and us, there isn’t any place for more. Surrounded by national forest. Not sure how our little island of land got out of government ownership, but interesting title searches go back to General Palmer (of D&RG fame).
