Get out and VOTE!

Whether you party like this:

Or you party like this:

or even if you party like this:

your not invited to the party until you do this:

Get out and VOTE!

I agree that everyone should get out to vote, no matter who or what you believe in. It’s a right and responsibility we MUST perform as Americans.

I’m also going to say that ANY posts with political content in this, or any thread, is going to earn a perma-ban.

Just voted.

Bob, thanks for being a watch dog on the political thing. There are many places to talk politics, bars and train forums are not on that list.

Terry

Computer hiccup. double post.

Terry

Up here your neighbours are watching closely and with great interest.
Exercise your vote, and May America prosper, no matter who wins this day…

What kind of railroad should you set up on Election Day?

A pole railroad.

Already voted, like two weeks ago and droped them in the collection box after church over a week ago. Now if I could just get the phone calls stoped and TV ads stoped it would be very nice! Remember the old one, if their lips are moving … Well it too true this time around!
I would have a RR that would take people to their polling places.

Paul

I think your voter registration card should be like a debit card so that when you vote they activate it and you run it through a scaner on your TV and it blocks political ads until the election over. Early voting would skyrocket.

Roger

Oh, Roger I love that idea, can we do it with commercials too?

Paul

Kim and i voted. Now that the “politicrap” ads will be going off the air, let the holiday “Buy our crap” ones begin!!!

Two Weeks ago, I started TIVOing everything. I just fast forward thru the commercials.

My vote is in.

Dear All,

My wife and I voted early last week to avoid the crowds.

It was essentially absentee ballot voting with an election volunteer (bless their hearts) at city hall telling us how to fold our (filled out) ballot and seal it in a mailing envelope, which she collected.

Shift gears…

I was thinking of previous elections, waiting up long hours into the night watching as each time zone’s polls closed.

What if…in nationwide elections, we would have all polls close at exactly the same time?

I suppose we would need massive ad campaigns to notify western time zones of earlier closings, and perhaps have evening voting the day before in far western time zones…

Sincerely,

Joe Satnik

Edit: added a few words for clarity…

Voted, and yes I voted for the dumb one, not the dumber one!

Will be nice for the political ads to be taken off Saturday morning cartoons and replaced with the usual “Male enhancement” ones again

gentlemen, don’t forget to take personal advantage from the election!

your streets are full of modeling materials now!

Excellent advice Korm…He who dares…wins!!

I’ve been scoping out the parts bin along the road. This year, not a coroplast sign in sight, they’re all the vinyl sheet ones. :frowning:
