George's Tips

Am I the only one who noticed that the George Schreyer web pages, with all their Technical Tips, are no longer available? The Wayback Machine has them archived.

This came up a couple months ago Pete. They are all archived here… Large Scale Tech Tips
And here…George Schreyer's Large Scale Trains Page

Be careful of that Wayback Machine. You may get caught in there and never return! Ask me how I know…

I have read and referenced his pages many times. What happened go him?

He died of cancer years ago.

BION, he still hosts pictures for my first three years of operation. He was at our first opening and came several years thereafter.

And his tips can still be found here:

George’s pages are still relevant and useful. I referred to them just recently to re-visit how to open a USA GP-9. Glad they are being kept available.

Years ago, and I mean years ago, Geroge’s stuff was informative, but today it’s old stuff. For a person new to large scale it could have some value, so those might look at the site.

I have looked back at them because all his work was well organized and detailed , still relevant . Just like Greg Elmassions website.

Uhm… How do you know?
