The Aberdeen Carolina & Western is running a special train for the US Open which includes a number of custom cars and a GE AC6000CW that has been made into a self service bar!
If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes (on video) I would never have believed it.

I’d ride that train, I’m just not sure if I’d tell anyone here that I did.
- …sort of like getting dragged to a televised Katy Perry concert only to find you’re sitting up front and worried there’d be a photo of yorself with a smile on your face.
Good on them for finding a way to attract more people to their railroad. The consist looks well cared for.
