Pondering the possibility of building a small z-scale railroad to serve as the garden railroad in the yard of a g-scale mansion on my layout. It would be a self-contained layout that could be picked up and moved inside if needed.
Yep, look into Rokuhan track, they just came out with some really small curves…

These are off the shelf parts, and since I run DCC, it will have a reversing loop. There’s also a magnetic uncoupler in one of the track sections.
It will ride on an Aristo Flat car, and the power from the rails will be passed up to the layout. In addition the turnouts will be by remote also.
It will be pulled by this loco (with DCC installed)
Quite common over here in UK to see Z scale trains running either as a kind of LGB, or even as a miniature ride-on train. For LGB-sized stuff, n-scale equals roughly 5" gauge ride-on, and Z equals around Gauge 3.
