The B&O Museum in Baltimore went through the same thing a few years back when the roof collapsed after a snowstorm. With the help of Smithsonian they finally got the roundhouse restored. Lost a few pieces of equipment under the collapse but I think most of it survived. Hopefully Galveston will be able to get going again.
