G Scale Gallooping Goose 2 nylon gear wheel split

I have an Accucraft G Scale Gallooping Goose no.2 and the nylon gear wheel on the axle has split.

I have been trying to obtain a replacement from Accucraft in the UK and USA but they tell me they do not have any.

Has anyone had a similar problem and how did they overcome the issue. Any help or ideas would be very much appreciated.
