I do believe Bob has asked that commercial sellers obtain a banner from him and not sell through the forums.

At this point I would say it’s up to Bob to decide what to do. Generally, individuals can place an ad in the classifieds but commercial has been requested to use the banners. Drop down to the “Website” forum and pose the question directly to Bob. He tends to check that forum more than the rest.
I’ll let this one slide. Classifieds are free because they are non-commercial. If you run a business, then I’d like you to buy advertising.
