Our local club sets up a display layout a couple of times each year. I just got home from the Oklahoma City Train and Hobby Show. Here are a few snapshots I took this afternoon with my phone. These kids were all telling their parents and grandparents, “I want that!” Even had a few adults asking how to get started.

That’s great Bob. Quite obvious is that the layout is near the ground and there is no rope to keep folks away. I’m sure that requires a lot of attention to keep curious hands from wrecking havoc, but it makes the layout approachable and the result is in the pictures: Kids having a great time!

Ric Golding’s Timesaver display is set up in similar fashion with similar results.

Imprinting is very important.

I have to admit in those pics that is the first time I have ever seen those cheesy pre-made plastic tunnels where they actually work and look pretty good.

Great pics of the kids, one of the reasons I like doing shows is for the kids, the expressions on their faces is priceless. I like doing my part to “spread the disease” .
