Going to Hawaii near the end of March for two weeks. We will be on the island of Oahu most of the time. When we were there a couple of years ago, we looked up the train stuff that is being restored and some of it that is being used on a run along the southwest side of the island. All of the steam engines looked beyond repair. Rust and more rust…Shame… Anyone need some pictures just email early in March and I’ll see what I can do.
May is the Big Show at the Queen Mary and I wouldn’t miss that for anything except maybe a real live 1:1 caboose, delivered. Room for it in the back yard… Anyone attending that show too?
Oh ya ! Short trip to Seattle to visit and chew the fat with TOC sometime this century.
