A few of the old Geezers got together yesterday for a “Fun Run Day” at the house. The coffee and donuts were good and the lies were even better. Here are some of the trains running on my layout. Chuck

This is John’s new loco that Mike help produce, but I’ll let John tell you about it. It started out as a LGB Mikado.
Of course with all run days you have to have a few problems or should we say, “Misshaps”.

Jerry got a new nick name, “Big Foot” because he was trying to stop Pauly from running into the back of his BN caboose

Of couse this was the misshap that gave Jerry his new nick name.

But while Big Foot was so concerned about stopping Pauly from hitting his train, he ran into the back of John’s train on the temporary bridge. It was still a great day.
Weed free ? How’d you manage that ?

Trust me, I have plenty of weeds to deal with. My wife and I spent 3 days after we returned from Bozeman, Montana pulling all the tall weeds, then I sprayed the others. Hopefully I’ll get to start scrapeing the ground with the tractor and get the back yard ready for grass this weekend.
