Sort of like the Paducha GP9’s, but not! Very, er, interesting.
It was not unusual for RRs to re-power there Alcos with GE or EMD power plants.
The Santa Fe even did it to some of there PA’s.
Looks like a big turbo charger on the exhaust of that chopped nose RS.
I’ve been tempted to chop my Aristo RS3 and my USA Geep 9, but other projects get in the way.
A bit early for me but I like it!
