Howdy all
Ive temporarily shut off uploading to the Freight Sheds, in preparation for moving them to the new server. They’re moving right now. MyFiles will point to the new sheds immediately. After some more testing, I’ll start up the new Freight Shed code. Probably later today or tomorrow morning.
I knew you’d do that when I wanted to upload a picture!

Things are moved over to the new server, and the MyFiles interface is hooked, allegedly, to the new area. Getting there!
edit: Oh, you can now click on the file name and have it post to the forums/chat like it used to!
You’re just flying along! So far my Mac seems to be happy.
Are you making any changes to the Articles section as well?
There is a bug in articles that Ive had on my plate for a bit, Ill take care of that next.

Oh, and my signature photo (avatar?) is a dead link too… maybe mine just haven’t moved yet? The interesting thing is, now that I’ve logged in and got the above, it “remembers” and it’s all I ever get… probably just really poor timing on my part.

I take it you’re still at work on the files. I can access My Files fine but I can’t upload anything.
Bob pulled the plug on uplods to the old forums in prepartation to go live with the new freight sheds…
He’s talked about having it done in a day or two but I think he was being an optimist! I know how those projects go!

I’m getting a weird URL copied to the clipboard when I try to insert a pic: /home/rmccown3/public_html/freightsheds/users/petert/_forumfiles/IMG_0583-corridor-end2.jpg After digging around, I found that if I delete up to /users/… and insert http://freightsheds.largescalecentral.com it works fine, i.e.

interesting, thats the absolute path on the server, not an URL… where is that showing up? What browser, etc? Inquiring minds want to know…
I opened the My Files window. IE 8.0.6001…
Point to a file name and ‘Copy Shortcut’ I get:
http://www.largescalecentral.com/chat/myfiles/
Point to a file name and click it I get an ‘allow access?’ window then “URL copied to Clipboard” which I then pasted here:
/home/rmccown3/public_html/freightsheds/users/petert/_forumfiles/IMG_0583-corridor-end2.jpg
