Freight shed cost?

OK, maybe the answer is obvious, but just want to check before I go into paypal. The site states:

Confirm Freight Shed Subscription

You are about to subscribe to a Freight Shed
Are you sure you want to do this? You will be charged a One-time fee of $20.00 for 1 year

If yes, click the Subscribe button below and you will be taken to the payment page. If paying through Paypal, when you have completed your payment, please remember to click the button that takes you back to our site.

So my questions are:

How big the a “subscribed” freight shed?
So it’s $20 a year every year?

(I’m confused about the “one-time fee” verbage)

Thanks, Greg

Meaning you have to remember to renew every year for $20?

That’s why I’m confused about the “one time charge”

Greg I am more than happy to throw Bob 20 bucks each year. The old software I believe notified you when your Freight shep expired, not sure on the new system but maybe Bob will chime in.

Me too Randy, in fact I was planning to do that without any additional benefit whatsoever.

I’m on another site where I paid for a lifetime membership, and there’s a lot of problems with the software which have not been fixed in months.

Seeing how quickly and painlessly Bob brought up the new site is just great.

And this is not even his day-job, it’s just a ‘hobby’ for him and he does it like a full-time job.

It’s a one-time payment of 20 bucks each year for the freightshed…

Not to mention Andy you can hang out here for free and get a small frieght shed, but most of us opt for the bigger freight shep for 20 bucks a year. Money well spent IMHO.

Randy, I whole-heartedly agree… Probably the best 20 bucks I soend all year…

I’m glad you’re getting good use out of them.

If I hadn’t sent them to you, they’d have gone up in flames with all my other audio equipment

Greg,

I came over here in 2007. I decided to start paying for this great site last year. I renewed this year again. I wasn’t sent a reminder from Bob and almost forgot to renew. Nice group over here. I’m just about done on another site.

BTW, when I send an email to Bob, he ALWAYS answers me…despite the fact that this is not his day job nor how busy he is.

Hi folks

Yep, its yearly. I agree that the text is a bit awkward.

The new software should remind you via email when your freight shed is up for renewal. I’ll visit the freight shed code today to make sure that it gives you a visual indication also.

There must be something wrong with me…

I understood what Bob meant.

Thanks Bob, I figured it was yearly, but I thought a friendly question was not out of line.

So when you “change over” to additional space for Albums, can I transfer my “yearly payment” from freight shed to album?

I think I read you intend to do the same thing for albums as freight sheds, and I know the album “administration” is not complete yet.

Greg

Greg - The Freight Shed is a bit more flexible than an album. You can store files of any type in a freight shed and photos can be any size. The album automatically reduces your photos (to some a good thing) and is limited to photos.

I thought it was quite plain on what was said for cost. West coaster always like to over think. BTW what is the smaller freight shed and is there a cost for it. BTW is the $20 just for a calendar year or is it for 12 months from date of original payment. Later RJD

R.J. you get the smaller freight shed for no cost as a member here. Pay 20 bucks and get alot more storage. You pay annually from when you start.
