But did you notice that the minimum order for free international shipping is $500, while the free US shipping is only $25. Doesn’t make me want to order anything.

International shipping is expensive. The minimum order is understandable.
If someone overseas was looking to save a considerable amount of money compared to local costs, this would be their chance to do so.

In the UK they will still get hit with the VAT (Vale Added Tax) when the shipment makes port. That is a big part of what makes train stuff expensive over there.
