I once made an offer like this on the other site. I’d ship them, all anyone had to do was pay the postage. All went well until one guy that couldn’t read what was being offered was upset that there were no train cars in the empty boxes and refused to pay the postage. The idiot actually thought I was giving away the rolling stock. I highly suspected a public education was involved.

I sent some odds and ends of parts to a fellow in Hawaii and we agreed for him to just pay for shipping which was about $10. Five years give or take, I’m still waiting… He admitted to that fact on the other site but he never did follow through.
New policy, You gots to pay first or no goodies.
