Fred Mills 80 years young

Today, June 15, 2021, Fred Mills, Ottawa’s Godfather of Large Scale Railroading, turned 80.

Because of Covid and the restrictions on the size of get-togethers, we couldn’t organize the big party we were thinking of. We now visited him with 5 members of the Ottawa Valley Garden Railroad Society.

The other 40+ members joined us in a Zoom special.

We surprised Fred with a custom made bulkhead flat car with inscription. The car carried a bottle of Dalmore single malt.
