Fred Devine's passing

Just learned on another forum that Fred Devine, Accucraft Sales Rep, passed away at his home in Las Vegas on Monday…

Fred and I went to High School together at Rockford, Illinois East High School… I hadn’t seen him since we graduated in '56 (1956 that is). We met at the Queen Mary in 2003 or 4 and renewed our friendship with many “stories” from our high school memories…

So sorry to hear the news…

I heard about his passing yesterday… He was good people, have known him at York shows for quite a few years… Sad to hear of his passing…

Condolences to all his friends and family

I was good friends with Fred, did all his computer “tuning”, and we worked together on a lot of ideas on new products and beta testing stuff, I even had to sign an NDA.

Fred was a fighter, never give up, even hauling that oxygen generator and driving from Vegas all the time.

Fred, I was proud to be your friend and I know you are in a much more comfortable place. Thanks for all the good times!

Greg

My condolences to his family and friends.

Fred cared about his company and the hobby – he was always looking for ways to draw a younger crowd into the hobby. He would talk about using social media before many others. I’ll miss his dry wit and quiet interest in what other people were doing.

So long, Fred, :- (

Sorry to hear of his passing. Had quite a few discussions with him. First met him in 2008. He will be missed. Condolences to all his family Later RJD
