Fred Device for sale

I have FRED devices for sale. They are hand made of styrene and have a clip on the back and batteries installed so they can be mounted on different cars. The price is $15 + $2 shipping in the USA. I’m willing to ship outside the US but the cost may be different. I’m willing to do different colors as well. If you’re interested drop me a line. Updated the post with the new FRED device pictures. Handle is different. Body is a tad smaller and the batteries are easier to remove. Overall the FRED is stronger too. Thanks, Terry

Hey Terry -

I picked up one of these from you at ECLSTS. It worked when you gave it to me and I had my wife put it someplace “safe” so it wouldn’t get broken in my pocket. We just found the safe place yesterday when cleaning out the car  Anyway, it must have been left on by accident 'cause it doesn’t work any more :frowning: I opened it up as suggested to change out the batteries, but silly me I didn’t pay attention to the polarity. Do you gave a pic of the batteries before closing up the end ? Or can you describe which polarity goes toward the switch side?

This is a very neat little device for the modern era guys and well worth the money in my opinion …I actually have 2 myself

I have 2, and would like a couple more, if they become available…

With that one the button side ‘should’ go towards the switch. If you have problems with it though let me know you can mail it to me and I’ll refund the postage when I send it back.

Terry

Thanks Terry. I’ll try some fresh batteries. If that fails I’ll let you know.

I have some more for sale if anyone is interested.

Some are flat top, some have a firecracker antenna. They are all yellow. If you’re interested in something different let me know. Due to better materials I have gotten the cost down to $10. $12 shipped in the USA.

John I have 2 of these the new and the old version they look the same as what is shown so yes you can put them on a coupler I would think.

John, rooster is right they essentially look the same. I tend to not put the hoop on top any more though and just leave it flat.
Terry

I’ve got mine attached to a coupler. It hasn’t fallen off yet, and, anyway, the yellow is easy to see against the ballast, I would think.

Terry… do you still have some for sale???

I will soon.
