Fr. Fred's Inspection Tour 7 photos

The poor folks of the Oregon coast get a surprise visit…

The good Father and his entourage disembark at Bandon depot on the POC.

The local mucky mucks greet the visitors from the north. Al Falderall (POC prexy) and Senator Clatterhorn (in straw hat) are there of course.

Everyone’s abuzz as the party proceeds into town wondering the purpose of the visit.

Obviously a yearly inspection by Fr. Fred of the local Branch Railroadians Hall. He is the Grand Pubah after all.

A natural photo op for the Pubah as well as the local dignitaries. Stan Sitterlift (world famous RR photographer) is there to record the momentious event.

Everyone says “cheese” as they shove in to get optimum position.

Certainly a day to remember in the tiny community of Bandon.

The only thing missing is a Honey Brown bottle in his hand…

Is here there also to inspect your bridges for guard rails?

The fellowship of the brethern is well documented, however only some pictures are allowed to be published or shown.

…oh yes, and about those guard rails…I’ll get back to you later…!!!

Full report within 60 days.......

LOL. I like it - especially that Fellowship Hall!

Richard, the last photo is great. It could easily be mistaken for a 1:1 photo. You did great work. I really enjoyed the photo’s. Jake Bennett

Many thanks guys and I’m glad you enjoyed the photos Jake. Welcome to LSC.

The post is meant mainly as a tribute to the much loved Fr. Fred who has done so much to promote fellowship, fun and international friendships within our railroading circles. It was done in the spirit of fun which after all is what a hobby is supposed to be about.

Are these buildings lighted Richard? I’d love to see them in the twilight. One of my favorites from my visit is this one:

They’re all wired but not yet hooked up Bruce. I need to run a feeder line.
