It appears the train continues to run to the planned schedule. The special is expected in the San Gorgonio Pass on (Beaumont) tomorrow, and as I had posted, heading up Cajon Pass first thing in the morning on Saturday. Should be a ton of foamers in the pass.
John, are you going up there to see it?
I’ve been to Cajon a few times and you can see a train coming up that grade for a long time.
I found the Junction at the bottom of the grade along I-15 to be a great spot. All the mainlines come together there and twist and turn their way through the hills as the head east or west.

Ken, I have not decided yet. It might be cool to see, but dealing with the railfans is another issue.
I can understand that. Fortunately when I visited there, I was the only one around.
