Hello Everyone,
We have released a Narrow gauge hand crafted Diesel R/C Loco, under the brandname of “P-Line Models”, to commemorate 150 years of the Indian Railways.
This is a limited edition model with a unique model number for each model.

Prototype info:

The ZDM-1 class Locomotive is a 2’6" narrow gauge diesel electric
Bo+Bo type Loco that ran in India on the Himalayan Mountain railway of
Kalka-Shimla. There were 4 locos in all with running numbers 700 to
704, these were manufactured in Germany by A.Jung Gmbh in 1955.

Our Model:

The model is handcrafted in all brass & Stainless Steel with twin
power bogies ech with a 1:36 Stainless Steel gear drive & 2 X 12v DC
Mabuchi motors(also available in 24v dc motors) delivering over
300gm-cm torque each. The model comes with 2 Ch AM Radio Control
system & ESC, synchronized diesel sound, horn(R/C operated),
directional lights over motors(headlamps & ditch lights).
All small parts are cast brass like Air Horns, vents, ditch lights,
foot boards, handrails, headlamps etc.
Main switches(3-way centre off type), Light & sound switches, charging
socket, 8amps fuse holder, sound volume control located inside the cab
with easy access detachable roof.
Windows are glazed & doors, engine access hatches are working with
scale working latches to lock/unlock.
Length: 400mm Width:100mm Height:100mm, Weight:3.2 kgs(without batteries)
Min turning radius: 3ft
Min clearence: 2inches from inner rail
Model is shipped in a Wooden Presentation box.

The loco is available in 2 versions,factory painted in correct livery
or unpainted in shiny brass.
This is a limited edition version and being produced by us to mark the
150 years of the Indian Railways.

FOB price of ZDM-1 in correct KSR livery is GBP 460 (includes R/C 2 Ch system & Synchronized sound system)

Paul, please post some photos. Do you have a website? Is the locomotive regaugeable between 32mm and 45mm? This is a 30inch prototype which are most often build to 1:20 scale, but many people like 2ft Darjeeling trains for which 1:19 is used. While every new Indian locomotive in 1:19 or 1:20 is welcome, for the 150 anniversary, a nice live steamer would be great;-)… I know, that is not going to happen, I am only dreaming about one of the Kalka-Simla or Nilgiri locomotives… But how about some Indian (DHR,KSR) rolling stock?? The price of the ZDM-1painted in KSR livery along with R/C & synchronized diesel sound system is GBP 460 (FOB)per model
We also manufacture a Brass SM32 model of NDM-6 diesel loco(DHR), with R/C & diesel sound, horn, operational doors & engine hatches, in the same livery as it now runs on the DHR. FOB price is GBP 370 per model including R/C & sound unit.

A quick google (I got this info on the One20-point3 group) produced the exporter/distributor page, with pics and other info. Also check out the 5" gauge coal fired live steamer kit in the ‘other products’!

Thanks for looking us up in alibaba & One20-point3 group. Yes the coal fired loco that you mentioned is our 5 in ga. 0-4-0 Hunslet, we produce this as a Kit/RTR.
We produce Kits RTRs & spares for Garden Railroads. Not trying to be a pessimist here, but a company name as a user? this should have probably been in the classifieds.
I thought this was more gear for the modeller to medeller sort of thing, but maybe thats just me…
